Winter Opening Hours

Christmas has come and gone and as a family and also a business we had a great time. Over the years  we have got to know so many interesting people  and gifted people.  “know” is mostly by email long standing over the years.  So thank you and have a good 2018

Great food – thank you to The Harbour at Axmouth for a brilliant Christmas Eve lunch.  8 of us and as I said good food and a reasonable price.  Great staff and comfortable surroundings.  We could even look through the window across to Axmouth Church and (perhaps?) remember what Christmas is meant to be about.

Lyme Antique Centre is also now on Winter Opening Hours.  Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday:   11 to 4.30.  The dealers areas are interesting – nice to have a delve in.   And you could combine a visit with a brisk / bracing walk along the Esplanade or across the beach.  (Have attached a family photo of some of us doing just that.

The Vintage Shed at Colyton (by the Tram) is open 7 days a week 10.30 to 4.  Phone number is 01297  599121 .  There is a lot in there – great variety – well worth a wander.  Lots of parking and tea/coffee/cake etc at The Merchant Tea Rooms in the middle of Colyton (Tel: 01297 552455), The Garden Centre (just round the back of Colyton or if you want a pint or a glass of wine try The Kingfisher in the centre.
